Any trip to Kenya should definitely include a safari. The country is rich in amazingly beautiful natural parks, each of them with its own characteristics and breathtaking views: the Masai Mara, the Amboseli, the Nakuro and Naivasha lakes, Tsavo National Park, to name only the best known ones.

Planning a holiday on the coast does not mean missing the opportunity to plunge into the magical world of the African savannah. Tsavo National Park, near Mombasa, is the most easily accessible from our resort. 

Tsavo is the largest park in Kenya (about 22,000 square metres – the size of Tuscany). It is divided into two parts by the river that crosses it: Tsavo West, mountainous and humid and Tsavo East mostly flat with  red earth, savannah and acacias. The park is one of the most valuable nature reserves in the world thanks to its biodiversity and habitats.

A two-day excursion into Tsavo East can be organized by jeep or van equipped with a retractable roof, and with professional drivers available for the duration of the safari (game drive). You can choose your accommodation for the night in the park – in a lodge or in a tented camp.

Day 1

  7.00  Departure by jeep or van

  9.00  Stop for breakfast

11.30  Park admission and beginning of the photo safari game drive.

13.00  Arrival at the lodge or tented camp, lunch and relax

16.00  Departure for the second game drive until sunset

19.00  Back to the lodge or tented camp, dinner and overnight

 

Day 2

  5.00  Excursion at dawn into the awakening bush

  7.00  Return to the lodge or tented camp for breakfast and check out

  9.00  Departure

11.00  Arrival at the resort
