KITESURF

Mombasa and the coast of Kenya offer many spots and ideal wind conditions (15-20 knots) suitable for both experienced kiters and beginners.

The beaches are protected by the reef that ensures the sea is always flat.

Mirko Marchetti (IKO 8895), the kitesurfing instructor, has international experience in Brazil, South Africa and Australia and he is there to assist the guests. He can also lead them from beach to beach (down-wind) and organize courses for beginners and advanced (freestyle) on request.

 Spots

Mtwapa Creek is within walking distance of the resort. It is an ideal spot on very windy days for "advanced" kiters and for free-style.

Serena beach, 3 minutes away, is suitable for all levels.

Jumba Ruins is one of the wildest and most natural beaches on the coast. To get there you go through a fascinating site of ancient, Persian ruins surrounded by green tropical plants and baobab trees.
