A unique and impeccably maintained course that stretches along one of the most beautiful white sandy
beaches on the planet.
Located 20 miles south of Mombasa in the resort of Diani, it is certainly one of the most fascinating areas in
East Africa.
The realization of the project was definitely a great challenge; it took six years to have it completed
because of the peculiar characteristics of the soil, mainly made of coral.
The result is a series of miraculously lush fairways that wind through the mango trees, cashews, walnuts
and casuarina.
Today, the Leisure Lodge is widely regarded as one of the most challenging golf courses in the African
amateur circuit and it is home to numerous tournaments including the well- known Diani Beach Masters.
The course offers a variety of exciting challenges, such as 88 bunkers, a gigantic lake in an old quarry on the
15th hole, and a small lake full of aquatic life on the 18th hole. The exotic fruit trees constantly attract birds
and monkeys .
Finally, after a golf match, visitors can relax and unwind on one of the most beautiful beaches in Africa.
